You'll need....
You will also need a foundation that matches your skin tone as well as a translucent setting powder. Also, you'll want a makeup sponge for applying the liquid latex (a porous makeup sponge was included in the latex I purchased and shown above).
Prime your face with a primer of your choice. I used Bare Minerals Prime Time (not shown). Then apply liquid latex to the area where you want your wound to be.
Step 2:
Apply tissue paper ontop of the latex. Gently pat it down, but don't make it look perfect. Continue to apply latex and layer tissues. Once you are satisfied, move on to step three.
Step 3:
Once the latex is dry, apply your foundation to your whole face, covering the tissues and latex. Then finish it off with some setting powder.
Step 4:
If you are making a wound on your cheek like I did, draw a line from the outer corner of your lip, onto the wound, ending parallel to your ear. Next, CAREFULLY cut along the line creating a slit.
Step 5: Now for the fun part! Define the outline of the wound by mixing purple and red face paint. To add depth, apply a combination of red, purple, and black to the parts of the wound that should be the deepest. Using black and red, define the slit.
Step 6: It's time for fake blood. Apply some to the slit and let it drip down. Don't be too precise when doing this. The messier, the better. Next randomly splatter fake blood around the wound. You can use a spray bottle with fake blood and a little water to create the splatters.
OPTIONAL: Contour your nose and cheeks with a grey shadow. You can also make your under eye dark circles even more pro dominant by using the same shadow that you used to contour.
Voila! There you have it! I hope you enjoyed!
